Non-Hospital Activities

The rehabilitation activities in non-hospital system are provided for:

  • Non hospital activities (ex Art 26 and under Article 44 ln 833 / 1978)
  • Home (ex Art 26 and former Art 44)
  • Diurnal cycle (seminterned ex Art 26)
  • Continuos cycle (internal ex Art 26)

The structures in which such activities are provided occupy about 2500 square meters:

  • Therapeutic pool of 100 sq.m.
  • Hydrotherapy tub
  • Gyms for neurological rehabilitation, orthopedic, traumatology, cardiology, pulmonology
  • Media Laboratory
  • Gyms and clinics equipped for speech therapy, occupational therapy, psychotherapy
  • Surgeries for electrotherapy

Twenty beds for rehabilitation activities in the continuous cycle (internal)

Thirty seats are allocated to daily activities

The medical staff in non-hospital rehabilitation activities, led by Dr. A.Maddalena Terracciano, is composed of highly experienced professionals including:

  • N.2 Child psychiatrists
  • N.4 Psychologist, psychotherapist
  • N.1  specialist physician speech pathologist
  • N.2 Doctors specialist in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
  • No 50 Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists
  • No 20 Neuropsychologists
  • No 27 Speech therapists
  • No 1 Social Worker
